Shelley Valdez

is a Filipino-American writer, artist, editor, and performer from California’s Bay Area. She is a recent graduate of Santa Clara University and worked as the poetry editor of the Santa Clara Review for several years. Her work has won multiple prizes, and has been published by poets.org, TheBest Emerging Poets of California, Quiet Lightning, and elsewhere. Mostly, she wants to tell good stories, give good love, and make good art.
