The Santa Clara Review accepts submissions from July to September for our first annual issue and from November to January for our second annual issue.
Visual Art submissions for Volume 114.1 are currently open. We have reached our submission cap for Poetry, Fiction, and Non-Fiction. All categories will reopen on November 1st, 2026. Thank you for your interest!
We accept submissions via Submittable.
Please submit works of fiction or nonfiction prose under 6,000 words. Please submit no more than three poems and five pieces of artwork at a time. Simultaneous submissions are allowed, as long as we are notified immediately if the piece is accepted for publication elsewhere.
